This modification is issued to change the solicitation issue date from on or about 27 October 1999 to on or about 14 January 2000. The synopsis is modified to read as follows: Elmendorf AFB, AK has a requirement for Hangar Door Maintenance Services. The requirement includes performance of quarterly preventive maintenance inspections, service calls, and emergency service calls of hangar doors on Elmendorf AFB, AK. The SIC Code is 1541. This Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be issued as a competitive 100% Small Business set-aside. Duration of the contract will be one (1) basic and four (4) option years. The government intends to award a Time and Materials contract. Award of a contract will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the government. The RFP will be issued on or about 14 January 2000 and close on or about 14 February 2000. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be held on or about 1 February 2000 at Elmendorf AFB, AK.
