99 -- ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT SOL 1234-XXXX DUE 012800 POC Ruth Porter, Contracting Officer, FAX202-776-8775 or FAX202-776-8703 The INL Bureau is requesting offers for the purchase of some electronic equipment to be delivered to the US Despatch Agency, New York, for export to Albania. This is a small business setaside. VENDORS MUST FAX TO THIS OFFICE AND REQUEST ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/SPECIFICATIONS OF THE EQUIPMENT. The list of equipment required is as follows: AT LEAST two CD writers, two hundred recordable CD discs, fifty rewritable CD discs, two high resolution color scanners, two high speed VCR tape duplicators, two VCR editing work stations, twenty DVD recordable discs, and two uninterrupted power systems. ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE CAPABLE OF OPERATING ON 220 volt, and 50 cycles European current. The Government will make an award to the responsible Offeror(s) whose offer(s) conforms to the govt. specifications to be faxed to Vendors upon request, and is most advantageous to the Government (I.E. that which represents the Best Value for the Government), cost or delivery time required to the port in New York/New Jersey considered. The combined relative merit of the technical evaluation factors listed above will be more significant than cost or price in the selection of the Contractor. THIS EQUIPMENT IS URGENTLY NEEDED. While the cost or price factor and the time required to deliver the equipment from the Vendor's facilities, has no numerical weight, they are criteria in the overall evaluation of proposals. Furthermore, the proposed cost or price must be reasonable and reflect technical requirements. The Government may award to other than the lowest priced offer.
