Furnish Architect/Engineer services (including planning consultations, site visits, and design work) to include working drawings, specifications, cost estimates, construction period services as required for Project No. 581-209. The intention of this project is for the modernization/replacement of the existing HVAC systems for Bldg. 12. Currently the HVAC system for Bldg. 12 is comprised of a mixture of systems inlcuding steam radiators, fan coil units, incremental units and duct work. Bldg. 12 is approximately 30,000 square feet and was constructed in 1931 with an addition constructed around 1980, it consists of the Dental Clinic, Pharmacy, Library and Administrative Office space. The project shall be designed to accomplish the following: 1) Sampling, analysis, design and CPIH monitoring for asbestos and lead containing materials. 2) Removal/replacement of the existing HVAC systems with a ducted HVAC system including exhaust and ventilation. This system shall be controlled through the expansion of the existing energy management system. 3) Installation of a fully automated sprinkler system per NFPA throughout the building. 4) Replacement/upgrade of the existing 120v/277v flurorescent lighting systems and fixtures with an enerfy efficent 277v lighting system and fixtures throughout the building. 5) Cetain other incidental work as required to accomplish this project. The Standard Industrial Code is 1711. Estimated construction cost range between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000.
