Performance period is for a 36 month base and two one-year options and an estimated start date of July 1, 2000. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment (except as otherwise privided), and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective performance of all services described herein. The contractor will be required to provide mechanical operation, mechanical and building maintenance, and related services in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. This solicitation is open to all business concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7349 and the Small Business Size Standard is $12 million. The estimated price range for the work covered by this solicitation is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available for downloading on or about January 31, 2000. The evaluation of proposals will be done on a Source Selection basis. A single-phase evaluation process will be used. The offer shall consist of a technical and a price proposal. Final selection will be to the responsible offeror whose offer presents the best value to the government and whose offer conforms to the solicitation taking experience and past performance into consideration. The sucessful offeror, if not a small business concern, may be awarded the contract contingent upon submission and approval of an acceptable subcontracting plan.
