M-Solicitation DABT60-99-R-0034 will be issued using Full and Open Competition (Unrestricted) for the services to perform the Logistics and Public Works functions at Fort Knox, KY to include Maintenance of Buildings and Structures, Family Housing, Utility Systems, HVAC Systems, Dining Facility Equipment, Surfaced Area's as well as providing for Pest Control, Self-Help Services, Installation Transportation Services, Base Supply Services, Grounds Maintenance, Range Maintenance, Railroad Maintenance and Materiel Maintenance. Applicable SIC Code is 8744 with a Size Standard of $20M. This is an A-76 Study conducted under OMB Circular A-76 utilizing Formal Source Selection procedures. The apparent successful offeror will compete against a Government In-House "bid". If contracted, the services will include a 150-day Phase-In period, a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods (the last option will contain a 60-day Phase-Out period included in the 12-month performance period). Oral presentations will be required. The competitive range may be limited for efficiency purposes in accordance with FAR Part 15. 3. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. The solicitation will be placed on the TRADOC Acquisition Center website at www.tac.eustis.army.mil on or about l February 2000. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to the TAC website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. A site visit will be scheduled and conducted in accordance with the solicitation approximately 2 weeks after issuance.
