The Navy intends to negotiate a modification to contract N00178-97-C-2004 on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems -- Moorestown, 199 Borton Landing Road, Moorestown, New Jersey 08057, for additional effort for activation of AEGIS Baseline 7 at the AEGIS Training and Readiness Center, Dahlgren, Virginia. The contractor will activate AEGIS Baseline 7 concurrent with activation efforts for other baselines in the facility already underway. This work is a follow-on effort to the preliminary planning, design, and facility engineering for Baseline 7 covered by the contract.
