This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation, F1965000Q0021 (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-12 dated 99June17. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3442 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The services to be provided are as follows: The contractor is to provide all labor, material and equipment to: 1. Remove and dispose of existing windows, 2. and install new windows according to manufacturer's recommendations. Windows/Doors required: CLIN 0001, 12 (EA) windows (twins) 84x68 with 18" vent; CLIN 0002, 5 (EA) windows (twins) 74x68 with 18" vent; CLIN 0003, 3 (EA) (single) windows 46x68 with 18" vent; CLIN 0004, 2 windows (single) 46x52 obscure with 18" vent; CLIN 0005 one (1) pair of doors 76x88. Color: Dark Brown Anodized; Framing of Doors: 2"x2 1/4" rectangular aluminum tube thermally broken; Glazing: 1" Tempered Glass. Caulking: Caulking: Contractor shall caulk windows on exterior and interior around entire perimeter of windows using a bronze colored silicone caulk. Doors: Medium stile and are of thru- bolted and fully welded construction. All doors are to be supplied with one (1) inch wire pulls, continuous gear hinges, door closures, threshold, mid rail and panic devise with a key. Contractor shall use a bronze colored silicone caulk on exterior and interior of new doorframe. NOTE: Contractor is to verify all dimensions in the field. The project is located in building 1122, Air Force Research Laboratory, Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA 01731. All work is to be installed in accordance with commercial standards. Warranty: The contractor shall warrant all workmanship and material for one (1) year from date of completion/acceptance. FOB Destination is required. Award will be made based on lowest price technically accepted. Job shall be completed by 00MAR31. Contractors responding to this solicitation shall provide pricing for ALL of the CLINS. Quotations that do not include prices for all of the CLINS may be determined to be non-responsive.
