Notice of Intent to award purchase order to Virginia Tech, Civil and Environmental Engineering for support services for the Environmental Restoration Division of the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center who require specialized assistance in the planning, development, and sponsorship development within the program area of Cleanup/Restoration of Contaminated Sites. The assistance will be in identifying and addressing high priority, mission-relevant, defense environmental technology needs, preparation of current statements of research needs, coordinate DoD funded (SERDP/ESTCP) projects, conduct program reviews, interface with Tri-Service, DOE and EPA cleanup program managers, and prepare a briefing to include the above areas. The services will be used in developing the year 2001 program plan for RDT&E in the Cleanup Thrust area already in progress. It is essential that there is knowledge and familiarity with SERDP/ESTCP program and have personnel in the Thrust area. This procurement is 100% set-aside for minority institutions.
