QUALIFIED MANUFACTURER'S LIST FOR YEAST The United States Department of Agriculture, (USDA)Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, (APHIS)Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), has a requirement for primary grown, nonviable dried yeast for use in the rearing of fruit flies. Due to the logistics and extended testing periods involved in the current approval process, it is the intention of APHIS to establish a Qualified Manufacturer's List from which to request offers to meet the Government's needs for this product.
