This work will consist of removal and disposal of existing furnaces, fabrication of plenums/stands, fabricate transitions to attach supply, uninstall/reinstall associated ductwork. Remove and cap any outside air ducts or grills. Connect I.D. fan outlet to existing 14" stack. Install drip leg from stack clean out piped to drain or outside. Install Government furnished thermostats and modulating burner control. This work will be be performed in an hazardous noise area. A pre-bid site visit is tentatively scheduled for 8 Feb 00 at 10:00AM local. As this work is in a restricted area, all interested parties who plan to attend the pre-bid site visit must provide an Entry Authorization List, (EAL), of who will attend. The EAL must be on company letterhead and include: full name, address, telephone number, position with the firm, last 6 of Social Security Number, and date and place of birth. The EAL must be received in this office no later than seven calendar days prior to site visit. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The SIC code for this project is 1711.
