primary area(s): States of: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska,
Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, So. Illinois, Upper
Peninsula of Michigan. Project description: The United States Postal
Service is seeking qualified firms to perform real estate services in
the areas listed above. Work includes, but is not limited to: site
identification, preparation of feasibility studies, market surveys,
appraisals, lease evaluations, lease negotiations, property inspection
reports, leasing of alternate quarters, leasing built-to-suit
quarters, as well as other traditional real estate functions or actions
as may be required to complete the project. This is an indefinite
quantity contract for a term of two years with three one-year renewal
options. Total work ordered under the subsequent contract shall not
exceed $5,000,000 for total five (5) years of the contract. Work will
be order and paidthrough a "work order" issued by this or other
authorized offices. Authorized Contracting Officers can only issue Work
Orders. Evaluation Factors: Each submittal will be evaluated on: Past
performance (real estate experience -- minimum experience of three
years for each discipline.), Key staffing, Capability/resources, Area
experience, and Approach. A Solicitation package may be obtained on

the below-required information. In addition, solicitation packages may
be obtained by writing Ed Strain at the below address. This office
will not accept telephone requests for solicitation packages. Awards:
Consideration will be given to firms responding to this advertisement
in accordance with the foregoing instructions and the instructions
contained in the solicitation. The U.S. Postal Service reserves the
right to make multiple awards and limit the contracts to specific areas
as a result of this solicitation and to award similar work to other
firms during the contract period. It is the intent to award a contract
within each large metropolitan city and/or within 50 miles of each
large metropolitan city in the covered area. However, other awards may
be made outside the 50 mile radius at the contract officer's
discretion to accommodate work load and need. Offerors may submit
proposals for any or all areas; however, at the discretion of the
contracting officer each offeror may be awarded a contract in one or
more areas as submitted by the offeror. Offerors shall maintain a
staffed office within the geographical boundaries for the area for
which their proposal is submitted. Such offices shall be responsible
and accountable for carrying out the work set forth in the contract and
issued work orders. No award information will be given out until after
award, which is normally four to eight weeks after solicitation due
