The Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA, intends to to contract out tug and towing services as required for the transfer of YO-202( hulk), dead ships, barges, and prototype targets from Ranch Point, BC, Canada to the Nanoose Range (including jervis Inlet), BC, Canada, standby and return to Ranch Point. The distance to Nanoose Range is about 10 miles one way. The estimated requirement is for five (5) operations per year of an approximate of 8 hours each or 40 hours per year. The contract will be indefinite delivery type contract with a base year and four (4) opition years. Written quote requests will be issued on or about 3 February 2000 with award made on or about 10 February 2000. Phone requests for the solicitation package will not be accepted.
