The U.S. Border Patrol Academy, Charleston, SC has a requirement to renovate 100 dormitory rooms in Building 28, Wing 5, at the Charleston Naval Complex. Required services will include but are not limited to, insulation of chilled water lines, replacement of ceiling grid and tiles, wall finishes, paint, carpet, replacement of specified bathroom fixtures and some hazardous material abatement. Contract will be best value to the government with evaluation criteria listed in descending order of importance: 1)technical submittals/management plan; 2)past performance on contracts with government agencies or private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with schedules; and 3)cost.
