The Television-Audio Support Activity (T-ASA) proposes to establish a five-year, firm-fixed price with economic price adjustment Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the following systems: Item 1: Audio Acquisition System Portable -- comprised of portable audio cassette recorder/reproducer, wireless audio receiver, various microphones, stereo monitor headphones, and miscellaneous components and cables. Estimated maximum quantity -- 60. Minimum order -- 12. Item 2: Lighting System, Portable -- comprised of jet set lighting system with case, miscellaneous lamps, barndoors, lens adapters, filters and diffusers, and plugs and cables. Estimated maximum quantity -- 40. Minimum order -- 8. The Government intends to issue an order for the minimum quantities, shown above, immediately after award of the basic contract. Delivery time for systems, when ordered by the agency will be thirty days after receipt of an order. Deliverylocations of systems will be specified on individual delivery orders and will be within the Continental United States. Multiple awards may result from this solicitation, if determined to be in the best interests of the Government, price and other factors considered. However, (1) the audio acquisition system, the video acquisition system, and the lighting system will be awarded to the same contractor and (2) multiple awards will be made only for complete systems. Components that comprise the individual systems will not be awarded individually.
