This notice is to advise industry of a Request for Proposal (RFP) of a US Army CECOM requirements for the Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS) User Readout Units (URO). The EPLRS URO is a hand held display for EPLRS digital data and includes a keypad input, output display and firmware to interface with the EPLRS Receiver Transmitter. The acquisition will call for a quantity of 1600 each UROs, NSN 5895-01-0177-0789 and will include a 200% option provision. URO requirements for this acquisition will be based on a performance specification. Proposals submitted in response to the RFP will be evaluated using a best value basis for award for selecting the best value to the Government. The deliveries will be 700 each to Albany GA. and 900 each to Red River Army Depot, Texarkana TX.
