USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) will issue a sole source purchase order to procure an enhanced version of DADS software for modeling of tracked vehicle on a sole source basis with LMS CADSI, 2651 Crosspark Road, Coralville, IA 52241. The need is for speciflized software module for building 3-D dynamic models of track vehicles to stimulate track/ground interaction forces for seismic signature analyses. This software must be compatible with the Sun Microsystems UNIX workstations and the DADS software currently residing on the UNIX workstations. The proposed award action is for suppplies for which the Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Printed specifications will not be available. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
