A non-profit organization, located in Austin, Texas, is requesting proposals for a feasibility and market analysis for electronics disposition activities to be located in central Texas. A disposition operation will be responsible for the complete recovery, including refurbishment and reclamation, of components and materials associated with industrial, commercial and consumer electronics and computer products. A competitive analysis, a survey of available material volumes, rudimentary facilities design and parameters, and projected annual capital cost requirements shall be included in this study. In addition, market research on potential business operations and product development appropriately related to electronics disposition activities and output must be included. All respondents must provide details of experience and past performance on comparable projects. Include a description of the nature of comparable projects and the experience of the contractor or participants working successfully on matters of similar complexity. Include current resumes for all professionals in the organization who will be assigned task responsibility for fulfilling this contract. Include three applicable references that may be contacted by the proposal evaluators. All respondents must submit a work plan detailing tasks to be performed as well as timelines for deliverables. A copy of the respondent's budget is required. Submitted budget will be used as a basis for negotiating and executing a contract with potential awardees.
