Pugliese, (703) 875-5816 The U.S. Department of State is seeking a qualified source to provide cargo handling assistance in support of the Miami Regional Diplomatic Courier Office that operates out of the State Department's secure vault at the Miami International Airport. Minimum Requirements Include: 1. Must be a cleared, bonded and insured airport cargo service with necessary credentials to operate at Miami International Airport. 2. Must be able to assist with handling large consignments of diplomatic mail transiting Miami International Airport on a weekly basis. 3. Must provide prompt/quality service under routine and emergency circumstances. 4. Must provide qualified trained staffing to include the use of a driver and two additional staff members to unload large aircraft containers on the tarmac side of the airport and positioning the material on baggage cars to be stored within the secure vault facility. The contract requires all contractor facilities and personnel to be suitable for a top-secret security clearance. The period of performance for this effort will be for one base year with the option to extend for four additional years.
