To address questions received in response to Solicitation Number USSS000011, Amendment 0001 is hereby issued. Question 1: Will inside delivery be made to only one (1) location, or are several locations within the Murray Drive address involved? Question 1 Response: As stated in the Solicitation, inside delivery to one (1) location will be involved. Question 2: Will award be made to one vendor for both Line Item 0001 and 0002, or may each line item be awarded to different vendors? Question 2 Response: Refer to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1(h), Multiple Awards. Question 3: Will the proposed award be for a quantity of three hundred ninety-seven (397) for line item 0001 and a quantity of six hundred forty-two (642) for line item 0002, or will the award be broken up and ordered on an as needed basis? Question 3 Response: Refer to FAR 52.212-1(h), Multiple Awards. Question 4: Must all items be acquired through Dell, or may the contractor select to obtain separately? Question 4 Response: As perthe Solicitation, items are to be acquired through Dell, who must provide the required integration services. Question 5: Will all on-site visits be made to Murray Drive, or will on-site visits be to various U.S. Secret Service (USSS) Offices? Question 5 Response: Dell next business day on-site warranty service will be made to USSS offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area, as well as at various USSS offices throughout the United States. Question 6: Will Contractor be responsible to setup/install the computers and/or notebooks? Question 6 Response: Dell integrated desktop units and notebook units are to be delivered to one site as per the Solicitation specifications. Actual setup of units at personnel workstations, etc., is not required under the Solicitation. All other requirements of the Solicitation remain unchanged.
