The Corps of Engineers has a need for a supply contract for an Indefinite Delivery type to Fabricate Tainter Valve Operating Machinery. The work includes fabricating various parts of operating machinery for tainter valves for various Lock and Dam facilities in the Pittsburgh District. The parts will consists of machined carbon steel and forged items, as well as steel castings and other materials. All parts are of welded construction. The estimated weights of individual parts ranges from 15 lbs. To 6500 lbs. All items will be painted after fabrication. The parts are to be delivered to the Pittsburgh Engineers Warehouse and Repair Shop, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This will be a five year, indefinite delivery, requirements type contract.
