This requirement is for lease/service of portable chemical latrines (toilets) for the Mississippi Army National Guard (MSARNG) located at Camp Shelby Training Site, Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Proposed contract will be a Requirements Contract for a base year with one option year. The Government intents to award in accordance with FAR Part 12, "Acquisition of Commercial Items". All work will be awarded by the issuance of delivery orders against the Requirements Contract. Award shall be made based upon both price and past performance. The Government estimates a minimum of 50 units being used during slow training periods of the year up to a maximum of 400 units during peak periods of training. However, the Government does not guarantee a minimum or maximum number of units during the duration of the contract. The magnitude of the contract is between $100,000 and $500,000 for the duration of the contract. The solicitation is unrestricted. This requirement is being procured under full and open competition; theappropriate SIC code is 7359 (size standard of $5 million). Request for Proposal packages will be available on or about February 9, 2000 with proposals due on or about March 2, 2000.
