Below Solicitation Number:193045-00-A-0012, Offer Due Date:3/3/2000,
Time:3:00 p.m. CST, Project:IQC-General R&A, Area:Eastern North
Dakota/MN (Zips 565, 567, 580-584), IQC-GENERAL R & A, Information and
Evaluation Factors: Repair and Alteration and Maintenance of Postal
Facilities. This will be an Indefinite Quantity Construction Contract
(IQC-C) for minor repair and alteration and maintenance of Postal
facilities in the Eastern North Dakota/Minnesota area(s). If it is in
the best interest of the Postal Service and agreeable to the
contractor(s), the resulting contract(s) may be extended, by
supplemental agreement, to include other areas. The contract will be
for a one year period with four one-year renewal options. The total
value of work orders may not exceed $5,000,000.00 over the life of the
contract with a minimum $10,000.00 of work ordered over the life of
the contract. No single work order may exceed $250,000 and a specific
work order will be issued to specify the kind and quantity of work tobe
performed for each project. Multiple awards may be made from this
solicitation. Evaluation Factors: Award will be made to the lowest
priced, responsible offeror. Responsibility will be determined by
financial capability, work history, and references, and through past
performance the contractor must demonstrate the ability and capacity to
perform this contract over the life of the contract. Estimated that
$300,000.00 will be charged against this contract. This does not
obligate the U S Postal Service, it is only an estimate designed to
help contractors in making an offer. Bonding will be changed in
increments of $100K with amounts to be determined by the contracting
officer at time of award and as additional bonding is required. Bonds
and Insurance: Performance and Payment Bonds, certificate of public and
automobile liability insurance, Worker's Compensation, and Employers
Liability Insurance are required before award to the successor
offeror(s). The successful offeror will be required to submit a
subcontractor minority report each Postal quarter for each workorder
