13 -- FREIGHT FORWARDING SERVICES POC Contract Specialist: Rosemary Hensley (309) 782-5534, Contracting Officer: Emil Maslanka (309) 782-3420 Description: The IOC is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources to provide freight forwarding services for a government ammunition shipment into the country of Sweden. All sources expressing interest in providing this service must be able to provide the following: 1. Single freight forwarding services without sub-contracting or brokering. 2. Leasing ISO Ammunition/Explosive Grade and pre-inspected and insured (replacement value) containers for positioning/stuffing/loading at DoD storage facilities. 3. Chartering ocean vessel ISO Certified Class 1-9 UN Material 4. Contracting inland rail or motor transportation with security services equal or greater than DoD requirements 5. Scheduling upload with Military Ocean Terminal Sunnypoint (MOTSU) NC. Boat must be available for upload of military demil items by 22 Feb 2000, with offload at the port of Varberg. 6. Obtaining all foreign country clearances. 7. Completion of all documentation and coordination required by US and Foreign countries, companies and other entities involved supporting movement including, but not limited to customs clearance, import licensing, manifesting, and lading drayage. 8. Full responsibility for default, damages, and services for leasing and chartered agreements. 9.
