material, and equipment necessary to perform dockside repairs
including, but not limited to the following items: (1) Clean and
Inspect Diesel Fuel and JP-5 Fuel Tanks; (2) Renew watertight door; (3)
Clean, Inspect Test Hot water accumulator tank and hydropneumatic Tank;
(4) Clean and Inspect Heat Exchangers; (5) Renew chilled water pipe
insulation; (6) Renew ventilation ductwork; (7) Renew HVAC coil unit;
(8) Renew waterproof ventilators; (9) Overhaul, renew and test valves
and manifold; (10) Remove compressed air system cleaning and tool
stations and install air regulator/lubricator stations; (11) Overhaul
and weight test articulating crane and replace crane console; (12)
Galley renovation; (13) Renew Deck coverings; (14) Provide temporary
logistics. Vessel's availability schedule will be 22 May 2000 for 53
days. There will be a nonrefundable charge of $100.00 in the form of a
certified check of money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for
requested drawings. Plan or specifications will be issued on or after
10 February 2000. All responsible sources may submit an offer which
shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. This Notice is
for information purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged
Business Enterprises; The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of
Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) has a listed
program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business
enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
