This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The following Flodyne Controls, Inc. Solenoid Valves or equal are to be acquired:Item 1: 5 ea. Flodyne Controls Inc. Solenoid Valve; Fluid: Oxygen, Part No. 2A1503S or equal. Item 2: 2 ea. Flodyne Controls Inc. Solenoid Valve; Fluid: Hydrogen, Part No. 2A1503S or equal. Salient Characteristics are as follows: Fluids: Oxygen and Hydrogen compatible; Pressure: operating:1600 psi; proof: 3600 psi; burst 12000 psi; Temperature: 35-100 Degree F.; Electrical: square wave input not to exceed 24 VDC and 12 amps; Operating Frequency: 60 Hz minimum; ESESOD: .120" The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-14. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3492 and 500 employees, respectively. Delivery to GRC is required within 60 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.
