Superconducting Magnet System must include Superconducting magnet with a Solenoid configuration, 46 Kilogauss central field(4.2K) at approximately 47 amperes, Field profile to attached specification, Total inductance of approximately 107 Henries, Driven mode operation (no persistent mode switch), Fully protected against damage due to quench, installed in cryostat described within; also must include a Cryostat with a room temperature bore configuration, 15 cm clear vertical field access, Primary construction materials are aluminum for the internal radiation shield and non-magnetic stainless steel for the cryostat outer, Evacuation valve(safety positive pressure relief devices), High temperature superconducting current leads installed, Electrical feedthrough for system diagnostics, 5 meter long instrumentation cable, and 4 ruthenium-oxide temperature sensors installed for system diagnostics. Final engineering of the system will be performed during the first one month following placement of the order. Complete drawings will be submitted for approval prior to fabrication of the system. Mechanical adjustments will be provided on the dewar to enable fine tuning of the alignment between the magnetic field axis and the room temperature bore. The method of mechanical adjustments (external collars to move the tube or adjustments to move the super conducting magnet)will need to be made within the first month after placement of the order.
