Loux, 410/278-3399, FAX 410/278-2980 The Government seeks sources for white papers and/or proposals on technology developments concerning small (miniaturized), reliable, durable, man-portable, concrete barrier analyzer equipment. Request replys be mailed or faxed by Feb 29,2000. Equipment must be capable of meeting the following general requirements with commercially available equipment or equipment that can readily be modified under standard commercial business practices: Analyze concrete wall barriers between 6 and 8 feet thick from a scanned area between 6x6 to 8x8 feet to determine barrier composition, thickness, internal reinforcement obstacles, and external far surface content and obstacles; collect, record, and provide rapid data processing and clear, accurate analytical results, including a 3-dimensional image based on the analysis; operate on AC or battery power (continous battery operation of at least 1 hour); fit the entire system (including peripherals) into approximately 2 regular-sized backpacks; be waterproof; and operate under severe field service environmental conditions.
