The above said vendor is Minolta Micrographic Products_ exclusive authorized distributor for this geographic region and also holds maintenance contract on equipment affected. Said maintenance contract would be compromised if installation performed by any other vendor. If no affirmative written response is received, within 15 days after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable items are available, and that it is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these items through the current contractor, a sole-source award will be made.
