applicability of the Totally Integrated Munitions Enterprise (TIME)
program s tools and concepts to improve the integration of all aspects
of the US Army s Crusader program s manufacturing enterprise. This
effort will done concurrently by the National Academy of Sciences (NAS)
with the Board on Manufacturing and Engineering Design (BMAED) study to
evaluate the TIME program against the recommendations found in two
NAS/National Research Council (NCR) reports. The results of the BMAED
study will be reviewed for the US Army s Crusader program. The US Army
intends to solicit and negotiate with National Research Council,
Washington, DC. This contract action is based on the authority of 10
USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible
source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency
requirements . This notice of intent is not a request for competitive
