U -- TRAINING IN SECTION 341 OF OTS'S THRIFT ACTIVITIES HANDBOOK. SOL TOTP00061 -- The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) intends to issue a purchase order, on a sole-source basis, to MIS Training Institute of 498 Concord Street, Framington, MA 01702 to teach four separate three (3) day courses on Section 341 of the Thrift Activities Handbook. MIS, through an earlier award, designed, developed and taught OTS examiners on Section 341 of the handbook. MIS has a complete understanding and adequate approach to OTS_s safety and soundness examines, and how Section 341 integrates into that process. The Government intends to acquire these services using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purchase order will have a base period of 2/15/2000 through 12/31/2000, with an optional follow-on period of 12 months. Written responses must be received by 2/02/2000. Responses must include sufficient material on technical qualifications/capabilities and pricing for OTS to make an evaluation. The authority is 41 U.S.C. 253(C )(1). This announcement constitutes the only notice. A solicitation package WILL NOT be issued. A request for a solicitation package will be considered nonresponsive.
