THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AND THE DOCUMENT IN THE ELECTRONIC POSTING SYSTEM (EPS) ENTITLED, "STATEMENT OF WORK FOR FITNESS COORDINATOR TRAINING" CONSTITUTE THE ONLY SOLICITATION; A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number 00Q0032 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 97-14. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The SIC code is 7991 and the size standard is $5 million. The quoter shall review the statement of work and present a quotation as follows: PRICING -- Prices shall be provided as follows: Item 0001 -- Fitness Coordinator Training Courses, 2 each; Item 0002 -- Fitness Coordinator Re-certification Course, 1 each; Item 0003 (Option) -- Fitness Coordinator Training Courses, 2 each; and Item 0004 (Option) -- Fitness Coordinator Re-certification Course (1 each). WRITTEN PROPOSAL -- The vendor shall submit a lesson plan and course booklet for evaluation, along with points of contact by name, telephone number, address, and organization for whom the lesson plan and course booklet was used in an actual training course. Lesson plan and booklet will be graded as follows: Excellent -- Meets or exceeds all Statement of Work requirements. Training would be very productive. Good -- Meets requirements. Omissions are minor in nature. Training would be adequate. Fair/Poor: Lacking in a number of areas. Would not provide adequate training. BASIS FOR AWARD: Award will be made to the responsible quoter whose lesson plan and course booklet is graded either excellent or good, and is the overall best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award may be made to other than the lowest-priced quotation received. Quotations, to include all materials referenced herein, must be provided in hard-copy not later than Friday, February 11, 2000, at 3 p.m, EST,. to the U.S. Secret Service Procurement Division, 950 H Street, NW, Room 6700, Washington, D.C. 20001. A second-duplicate copy of the lesson plan and course booklet shall be provided in hard-copy to U.S. Secret Service, JJRTC, 9200 Powder Mill Road, R-2, Attn: Todd Bagby, Laurel, MD 20708 by the same date and time due.
