Provide labor materials and equipment for the construction of specific utilities, a new roof and new exterior siding for Hangar III at Air Station Kodiak, Kodiak Alaska. Demolition includes wood and steel framing, hazardous soils, asbestos and lead paint abatement, steel retaining wall removal, utility removal or capping, site excavation and site fill. The construction includes modified bitumen roofing, aluminum and steel siding, translucent panels, fiberglass doors, galvanized hangar bay doors, aluminum windows, a steel pile retaining wall, steam piping, storm piping & drains, sanitary sewer laterals, water utility piping, fire deluge supply water piping, fill material, concrete slabs, asphalt paving. Estimated price range is $5 to $10 million. Duration of the project is 10 months. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 1 February 2000 and must be ordered in writing.
