POC Kari Watkins: 405.235.3320 INVITATION TO BIDDERS The Oklahoma City
National Memorial, One Leadership Square, Suite 150, Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma 73102, hereinafter called the Owner, will receive sealed bids
on: Oklahoma City National Memorial Center. This project consists of
finishing out of interior spaces for the Oklahoma City National
Memorial Center. This project shall be completed by October 1st, 2000.
This package does not include any of the museum exhibitry. Bids will
be received at the office of the Owner until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday,
February 22nd, 2000. Bids received after this time set for the opening
of bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened publicly and read
aloud. If bids are within funds available for the Project, the bidding
will be announced and a Contract will be awarded to the lowest and
best bid. If the bids are higher than the funds available for the
Project, plans will be modified and a new Bid Date set. This process
will be repeated until a Contract can be awarded. No bidder may
withdraw his bid within thirty days after the date of bid opening
stated above. or subsequent bid dates. if applicable. A mandatory
pre-bid conference is scheduled for February 3rd, 2000 at 1:30 P.M., at
the Oklahoma City National Memorial Office; One Leadership Square,
Suite 150, Oklahoma City. Hard hats will be required for tour of the
Journal Record Building. Contract Documents are on file at the Owner's
office and the Plan Rooms of Dodge/AGC, and Southwest Construction
News. General Contractors may obtain complete sets of Drawings and
Specifications from the office of the Owner starting on Monday, January
24th at 12:00 noon. A deposit of $150.00 per set will be required, two
(2) sets maximum each Contractor. Make checks payable to the Oklahoma
City National Memorial. Successful bidder will be refunded his
deposit. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning such sets complete, in
good condition, and within seven (7) days of bid opening, will be
refunded his deposit. Bidders failing to return Plans or Non-Bidders
failing to return Plans in good condition at least ten (10) days prior
to bid opening will forfeit his deposit. Returned Drawings and
Specifications must be assembled and bound in the same order as when
they were picked up and all addenda must be included. If the Sets are
returned incomplete or unassembled, A CHARGE OF $150.00 per set plus
any required printing costs will be deducted from the deposit.
Subcontractors and material suppliers may purchase sets of Drawings and
Specifications or partial sets, or individual sheets from Triangle A&E.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any
minor informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Attention to the
Bidders is particularly called to the requirements for liquidated
damages. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Instruction
to Bidders. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid shall accompany
the sealed proposal of each bidder. Submit bid on Bid Form provided.
