2-160-950-38. The Government intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Type
Contract. The quantity is 16 each. Required delivery with First Article
Testing is 8 each 675 days after contract award and 8 each month
therafter until shipped complete. First Article Test Report is due 528
DACA. Without First Article delivery is 8 each due 828 DACA and 8 each
month thereafter until shipped complete. Applicable to CH-47 Turbine
Engine. FOB Origin to Texarkana, TX. All offerors must meet
prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award of this
Flight Safety Part, Engineering Testing Item. Justification for other
than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. This proposed contract
action is for supplies for which the Government does not have
specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition.
Approved source is: Allied Signal Inc., Phoenix, AZ. The time required
for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be
delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms are encouraged to seek
source approval in order to compete for future solicitation by

look under CSL or SAR information. All responsible sources may submit
a proposal which shall be considerd by the agency. This requirement is
