Anticipated RFP Issue Date: 2/10/00. Item 0001: Geometric Pointing Devices consisting of: Item 000101: Prototypes. 2 Ea. ; Item 000102: Production Units. up to 10 Ea. ; <8711-Engineering services to develop, demonstrate, produce and deliver Geometric Pointing Devices (GPD). Units shall provide azimuth, elevation, pitch, roll, yaw, Unit ID, and GPS based timing output at a minimum of 10 samples per second on a RS232 data interface for recording, or on other routing as operational test requirements dictate. The entire GPD unit shall not exceed 58 inches in length; shall weigh no more than 1.5 pounds; shall provide .25 degree accuracy or better; shall discern engaged targets at a minimum range of 20 KM with target separation of 100 to 200 meters between the lead target and the trailing target; and shall be EMI and RFI shielded. The Government desires delivery of all documentation and source code in sufficient detail to allow third party production of GPD units.
