Survey requires a fully found vessel to support marine geophysical
research in the waters between Santa Monica Bay, California and the
Mexican border to acquire high-quality reflection seismic data and
acoustic imagery. Work is to occur between 6/1/2000 and 6/30/2000.
Operations will last continuously for 21 days. The proposal evaluation
criteria,in relative order of importance,is as follows:(1) conformance
to minimum desired vessel specifications;(2) crew qualifications and
experience;(3)past performance in survey work;(4) cost tradeoffs and
overall value.The Government contemplates a firm fixed-price COMMERCIAL
ITEM (services) contract. All responsible sources may submit a proposal
which shall be considered by this agency. RFP 00WRSS0002 may be
requested from the Contracting Officer.The SIC is 4499. Business Size
standard is $5.0 M. Offerors are encouraged to provide descriptive
literature (photographs, drawings, or brochures) with their offer.
