This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a sole-source proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-00-R-0036 applies and is issued as a request for proposals (RFP). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. A fixed price contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The standard industrial code is 3679. This procurement is for 16 each Ultra IIi-3V-512-256-300 Processor Boards, and 15 each Ultra IIi-1V/3-1024-128-360-NSWC Processor Board Equipment sets. This will be a sole-source procurement to Themis Computer, 3185 Laurelview Court, Fremont, California 94538. These processor boards and associated equipment sets are VME single board computers which process sophisticated data link information in tactical systems fielded by the U.S. Marine Corps. The Ultra IIi-3V board is common to those fielded with the Tactical Air Operations Module (TAOM). The boards will be utilized in the Air Defense Communications Platform (ADCP) system.
