99 -- FEEDING SERVICES -- WILD HORSES AND BURROS, ELM CREEK, NEBRASKA SOL NAB000044 DUE 031500 POC Ms. Marty Coffey, (303) 236-9439 The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for large animal feeding services for wild horses and burros being maintained at the BLM Holding facility in Elm Creek, Nebraska. The contractor is to provide its own tractor or loader with round-bale grapple loader, or a pick-up truck, capable of transporting round bales of hay to feeders/feed bins. A contractor-provided pick-up truck may also be necessary. BLM shall provide all hay and supplemental feed for the contractor's use in the feeding the horses and/or burros. The contract will be structured with a base year plus four (4) option years. Contractor shall be reimbursed for per animal feed day, on a monthly basis. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 15, 2000. These services are under Standard Industrial Code 8999, and Product Service Code F016. A pre-bid conference/site visit will be held on approximately February 29, 2000.
