potential sources who have the capability to manufacture Modular
Lightweight Ballistic Applique Armor (Passive) designed for use in
vehicles and fixed structures for protection against small arms threats
as identified below. Lightweight Ballistic Armor to defeat Ball threats
at an Areal Density (AD) of 8 lbs. or less psf. Soviet 7.62 x 39mm
(M1943) @ 2400 ft/sec Soviet 7.62 x 54mm Type LPS @ 2870 ft/sec NATO
