solicitation packaged for the Drydock Repairs to the USCGC SENECA
(WMEC-906) is hereby cancel in it's entirety effective January 26,
2000. Package will NOT be re-issue. Provide all labor, material, and
equipment necessary to perform drydock repairs including, but not
limited to, the following Base Items: 1) Clean, Inspect, and Preserve
Oil Tanks. 2) Preserve Diesel Fuel Tank. 3) Remove, Inspect, and
Reinstall both Port and Starboard Propeller Shafts. 4) Service both
Onboard Controllable Pitch Propeller Systems. 5) Preserve the
Transducer Hull Rings. 6) Preserve the Transducer Hull Ring/Renew
DSN-450 Doppler Speed Log Transducer. 7) Overhaul and Test Valves. 8)
Renew Ventilation Ductwork and Ventilators. 9) Modify Stern Tube Seal
Cooling Systems. 10) Service Rudder Assemblies. 11) Lower Bearing
Renewal. 12) Renew Fin Stabilizer Seals and Bearings. 13) Overhaul
Anchors and Anchor Chains. 14) Preserve Chain Lockers and Sump. 15)
Preserve Bilges. 16) Preserve Underwater Body _ Coating Thickness
Measurement Non-Destructive. 17) Painting of Draft Marks. 18) Preserve
Freeboard. 19) Renew Cathodic Protection System. 20) Inspect and Renew
Hull Plating. 21) Provide Temporary Logistics. 22) Routine Drydocking.

Labor Rate. 20) Lay Days. Vessel_s homeport is Boston, Massachusetts.
Vessel is a 270-foot, 0-inch, Medium Endurance Cutter. Vessel width is
38 feet, 5/8 inch. Vessel_s availability is for 49 days starting May
8, 2000. The place of performance for this vessel is not geographically
restricted. Orders for U. S. Coast Guard specification reference
drawings must be placed within ten (10) days from the solicitation
issuance date. There will be a non-refundable charge of $150.00
required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the
U. S. Coast Guard, MLCA, for a set of hard copy drawings. Drawings are
now available on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM sets are available for all cutters
and will be provided free of charge. The CD-ROM(s) contain WINDOWS
compliant raster/vector formats (e.g. *.TIF, *.TIF (group4), *.DWG, and
*.DWF, etc.). All other referenced documents are available for viewing
at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, Virginia. Funds are
available for this procurement. The proposed contract listed here is
part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans
and specifications will be issued on or around January 18, 2000. All
responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the
United States Coast Guard. This notice is for information purposes for
