DESC: The Government is condidering issuing a Commercial Packing and Crating Contract with multiple awards and indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ). The solicitation was previously addressed as F05604-99-R7002 which included Schedule I (inbound) and Schedule II (outbound) Direct Procurement Method (DPM) shipments. Under the new solicitation number F05604-00-R7000 the Schedule III (local move) will also be added. The Standard Industrial Classification Number is 4783 and the Business Size Standard is $18.5M. The proposed contract is contemplated as 100% Small Business (SB) Set Aside and all interested parties including those in the HUB Zone and 8A Programs are encouraged to participate. NON-PERSONAL SERVICES: The contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials necessary to provide packing, containerization and local drayage of personal property shipments and local moves for military and civilian personnel as scheduled by the Joint Personal Property Shipment Office (JPPSO) Colorado Springs, CO. The solicitation will be posted to EPS around 20 Feb 2000. The period of performance will tentatively start 1 Apr 2000 through 31 Mar 2001, plus four option years may be exercised as required every fiscal year following, beginning 1 Apr 2001 and ending 31 Mar 2004.
