the T-53 UH-1 Airframe Unit. All offerors must meet prequalification
requirements in order to be eligible for award. This part requires
engineering testing, serial numbers, fatigue testing and is a Flight
Safety Part. This part requires engineering source approval by the
design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part.
Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and
manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition
of the part from the approved sources The approved sources retain data
rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not
economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is
essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source
must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's
procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering
activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the
Government engineering activity have jurisdiction over the part in the
intended application. Sources of supply for this part are Bell
Helicopter Textron, Inc., 600 E Hurst Blvd., Hurst, TX 76053 (CAGE
97499); and Chem-Fab Corp., 1923 Central Ave., Hot Springs National
Park, AZ 71901 (CAGE 3H339). Authority and Justification is 10 U.S.C.
2304 (c)(1). This proposed contractual action is for supplies which
cannot be procured through full and open competition because the
authority cited states only a limited number of responsible sources and
no other supplies or services will satisfy the Agency requirement, FAR
6.302-1. To obtain this solicitation package, send a fax to the buyer

accepted. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item
described above are encouraged to identify themselves to the
Contracting Officer, and provide supporting evidence which will permit
their participation in the current or future solicitations. Firms are
encouraged to seek source approval in order to complete for future

looking under CSL or SAR information. This requirement is currently
unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds.
All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which shall
