65 -- PHARMACEUTICAL SUPPORT SERVICES SOL RFQ 548-00-SB-143 DUE 031400 POC Sue Byrne 561-882-6508 or Dinora Bruno 561-882-6511 The VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida intends to award an indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract for pharmaceutical support services. The Contractor shall provide approximately 3000 beneficiaries as prescribed by the health care providers at the Fort Pierce VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located at 728 N. US Hwy. 1, Fort Pierce, Florida. Contractor shall be required to fill all narcotic prescriptions, as well as medicaitons not stocked by the Clinic, listed on the VHA National Formulary. Contractor may also be required to supply any other medication listed on the VHA National Formulary, which is out of stock or not available to the Clinic. Pharmaceutical services include filling of prescription services and patient education concerning their medication. Contractor shall be within a five (5) miles radius of the Fort Pierce Clinic. The base period for this contract shall be April 1, 2000 through March 31, 2001 with three (3) one (1) year options for renewal. The VA intends to award a singel contract but reserves the right to make multiple awards if in the Government's best interest. The period of acceptance for quotations is 30 calendar days. Issue date is on or about February 14, 2000. The closing date for all quotations is on or about March 14, 2000 at 2:00pm local time.
