The VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York at Syracuse intends to make a sole source award for preventive maintenance and repair service for an SMV DST-XL Nuclear camera system, Vision Power station with clinical and service software. The justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Negotiations will be held directly with the manufacturer of this equipment SMV America, 8380 Darrow Road, Twinsburg OH 44087. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Offerors who request a copy of the solicitation and/or simply provide a statement that they can provide the required items will not be considered. Responsible sources may respond by submitting information identifying their capability to supply such a service with adequate technical information for the Government's evaluation.
