The Defense Distribution Depot Red River,Texarkana, TX has a requirement for the removal and upgrading of the existing Tire Stacker Gould-Modicon PLC program. The contractor shall furnish, install, inspect and test proposed Allen Bradley program to include design engineering services, documentation, program conversion, start-up and debug services.Contractor shall document existing field wiring prior to removal of existing PLC and I/O racks to ensure accuracy of existing drawings, convert existing Gould-Modicon program for operation on an Allen Bradley SLC 500 using Rockwell Software RSLogic 500, remove exising processor,I/O racks and associated wiring, install new PLC and wire to the existing field interconnect terminals using existing field wire numbering system, utilize existing wire numbering from the I/O to the interconnection terminals using the SLC 500 I/O designation. The contractor will use existing Government high voltage motor starters and associated wiring. Control relays along with the speed selection relays and associated potentiometers for the drives will not be changed. Existing drives, wiring to field devices, cabinet buttons or operator interface will not be changed. In addition, the contractor shall be responsible for removal and transporation of all excess debris and unused material from the depot. Contractor will be encouraged to visit the site prior to quoting on this requirement. The Request for Quotation and resultant contract award are being processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
