The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is soliciting the successor to Contract N66604-95-D-0324 for the services of undergraduate and graduate students to perform engineering and scientific tasks in support of the mission of NUWCDIVNPT. Tasks shall be performed by responsible undergraduate or graduate students whose educational emphasis and experience is commensurate with the nature and complexity of the tasks ordered. The term "university" for the purpose of this contract shall include any accredited university, college, or institution of higher education. The resulting contract will be a single award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type with Time and Material provisions. The Period of Performance shall be five years from the date of contract award. Total estimated level of effort for all five years is 175,000 man-hours. Expected breakdown is 38,500 man-hours each for freshman, sophomore, junior and senior students and 21,000 man-hours for graduate students. Award will be made on basis of Best Value to the Government. Evaluation Factors are Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Cost. SIC Code is 8711.
