Work shall consist of constructing new dikes and/or raising/rehabilitating existing dikes, excavation and haul out of dried dredged material, mowing and cutting back encroaching vegetation along the dikes, and other miscellaneous disposal area management activities with rented equipment and operators. Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract consisting of a base year with 4 additional optional years (which may or may not be exercised) at approximately $6,000,000.00 each year with an estimated total value of approximately $30,000,000.00. Individual task orders will be issued in accordance with the contract clauses. Bid documents are available on or about 22 February 2000. Estimated cost of work is more than $10,000,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. All bid forms, bid bonds, and other normal documents required for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for the bid submittal documents will not be allowed. Critical Path Method (Network Analysis System) is not required. For this job, a Small Business is defined as having average annual receipts of less than $17,000,000 for the past three years. This solicitation includes bid options, which may not be awarded.
