(703)810-4797 The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a
requirement to continue the SLBM Elimination program by destroying an
additional 32 Russian Navy Northern Fleet Sea Launched Ballistic
Missiles (SLBMs). The existing contract requires the contractor to
transport, neutralize, dismantle, destroy, and dispose of all
salvageable and unsalvageable missile fragments from Northern Fleet
SLBMs. Other requirements include: the loading and transport of fuel
and oxidizer from the Northern Fleet SLBMs to the Russian Federation
Ministry of Defense storage facilities; Inspect and repair as necessary
the access railroad at Revda Base and Sergiev Posad to assure safe
transport of the SLBMs. DTRA plans to award a sole source contract to
the Scientific Test Institute at Sergiev Posad, Republic of Russia. Any
other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to
perform this requirement. See Note 22
