The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Tuscaloosa ALabama intends to negotiate with ICS Medical Corporation, 125 Commerce Drive, Schaumgburg, IL 60173 for the procurement of a Video Electronystagmography System. The following is a discription of the required system: Combined CHARTR TOWER VNG/ENG-2 System, part number CT V4/N2 (or Equal) with NCA-200 Caloric Stimulator, Part number 200F (or equal), having the following minimum specifications and features: (1) 4-channel video eye movement and 2-channel eye movement system. Includes 2-channel of amplification (ENG), 4-channel of amplification (VNG); (2) pentium III 450 MHz or greater processor; (3) high caplcity hard drive with minimun of 4.3gb; (4) 128 meg RAM, LS-120 floppy drive; (5) 17" non-interfaced monitor; (6) CD-Rom drive; (7) tape back-up drive; (8) Windows 98 operating software; (9) color printer equal to HP-830C; (10) light bar with ranging; (11) Windows VNG/ENG software for data capture, analysis and reporting; (12) binocular, dualpurpose (vision and vision-denied) video goggles; (13) external isolation transformer; (14) ENG starter kit; (15) 2 additional channels of amplification and 4 channels of ENG; (16) extended 2 year support program. All equipment operates on 110v/60Hz. The ICS Medical Corporation part numbers supplied in the announcement are for use as a guide for any other offeror purporting to be able to supply this system.
