SORBENT POWDER The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. HQ, Industrial Operations Command intends to solicit/negotiate/award a sole source contract to Guild Associates, Dublin, Ohio. Requirement is for 42,066 Pounds of Sorbent Powder in accordance with EA-PRF-2166, w/NOR-001, dated 990301. Guild Associates is the only contractor which has undergone qualification testing and prove out for the item and is currently in production of the powder and can meet the required delivery date. A 100% option is applicable. End use is the M295 Decontamination Kits for Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
